Sinopsis:
Rewritten by Dewi Sulistya Wati. Florence Nightingale was a girl from a rich family who had a different dream from her friends. Since she was little, she didn’t like parties or fancy dresses, but really wanted to help sick and poor people. Even though her parents didn’t allow her because being a nurse was seen as dirty and disrespected at that time, Florence didn’t give up. She was finally allowed to study at a hospital in Germany, where she learned a lot about keeping things clean and how to take good care of patients.
When a big war happened in a place called Crimea, many soldiers got hurt and were dying in a very dirty hospital. With her courage, Florence went there with 38 other nurses. She worked day and night, cleaned the terrible hospital, and took care of the soldiers with love. Because she always brought a lamp when checking on patients at night, the soldiers called her “The Lady with the Lamp.” Thanks to her hard work, the hospital became clean, many soldiers got better, and Florence changed how people saw nurses as kind and important helpers. She even started the first school for nurses in London.
